Asked who’s most likely to make him laugh while filming, Hutcherson tells DuJour magazine, “Woody. Without a doubt. He f—- with you off camera.”
Normally actors are all business on set, but according to Hutcherson, his costar “lives in his own world.” But after six years of hard work on the franchise, a little laughter goes a long way. “It’s the greatest,” the actor adds.
“Sometimes if he’s off camera he’ll make this face,” he explains. “You can’t make eye contact with him. I don’t even know what it is. There’s a twinkle in his eye, like, We’re shooting a movie. It takes you out of it. It’s the funniest s—.”
And making people laugh isn’t the True Detective star’s only talent. “Woody’s got a lot of weird s— he can do. He’s really good at playing water basketball.”

Hutcherson realized Harrelson’s unique talent during a match in his pool. “We went to his house and played one time and he was f—— really good.”
For someone who doesn’t eat meat, Hutcherson says he’s “so much stronger than you think he is. No offense to Vegans, I don’t think exactly someone is going to be kicking ass being a vegan. But he’s strong as s—.”
