It’s official: Joseph Gordon-Levitt wins the award for best DIY costume.

Forget about dressing up in designer duds, the actor proved his love for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens when he dressed up as Yoda at the L.A. premiere on Monday.

Complete with green face paint and Grinch-print pajama pants, Gordon-Levitt, 34, channeled the powerful Jedi Master, he even added a beanie with pointy felt ears sewn on the sides!

For what would be his most comfortable getup at a red carpet premiere, JGL completed his look with his grey long sleeve, white bathrobe as well as pink and green Converse sneakers.

But he wasn’t the only celebrity to come in cosplay.

Actor Rainn Wilson and his son Walter dressed in their favorite Star Wars characters. “Me and Walter are the only ones dressed up at the Premiere!!” he captioned his photo.
