of the top spot on iTunes during his time on The Voice, but now Jordan Smith has an even bigger reason to celebrate: his debut album Something Beautiful is sitting pretty at the top of the pop album chart.

On Tuesday, the star bumped both Gwen Stefani and the soundtrack of The Passion out of the top two spots to claim his place at number one.

“You guys is this real?? #1 in the iTunes pop chart because of YOU! #SomethingBeautiful,” Smith excitedly captioned a screenshot of the chart on Instagram.

Both Stefani – who was a coach on Smith’s season of NBC’s hit singing competition show – and Smith shot to the top of the charts last week after releasing their albums on the same day.

“It took me a long time to become confident,” Smith told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview before his album was released. “Music saved me. It opened up my world and made my life a lot more beautiful. At the end of the day, I knew it was the thing I could fall back on, and it kept me on the right path.”
