Colorado Gov. Bill Owens says it may be some time before he makes a decision as to whether or not he will appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the JonBenet Ramsey slaying. The governor met with Boulder County prosecutor Alex Hunter and a special task force for four hours Monday to take a second look at the case after a grand jury failed to issue any indictments following a 13-month investigation into the Christmastime 1996 slaying of the 6-year-old. Owens’s chief of staff said the task force may meet again.
