12 Acclaimed Actors with Fewer Oscar Nominations Than Jonah Hill
The Academy Awards have now recognized Jonah Hill more times than Gary Oldman
Jonah Hill, of Superbad fame, is now a two-time Academy Award nominee.
The 30-year-old received a Best Supporting Actor nomination on Thursday for his role in The Wolf of Wall Street. This follows a 2012 nomination in the same category for Moneyball.
Among the other actors nominated for a supporting role this year, only Bradley Cooper matches Hill’s pair of Oscar noms. The rest of the category’s nominees – Jared Leto, Michael Fassbender and Barkhad Abdi – are all experiencing their first shot at the coveted gold.
In fact, Hill has now surpassed many other acclaimed actors in Oscar nods. In his 10 years on the big screen, Hill has earned more Oscar nominations than these film veterans.
