As more than one wag noted Sunday night as John Stamos publicly stripped down to a pair of sequined bikini shorts at the 12th edition of the New York stage event “Broadway Bares,” reports “Talk about a ‘Full House.’ ” Stamos, 38, currently playing the pansexual emcee in the Broadway revival of “Cabaret,” took it off for a good cause, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, which has been hosting the event since 1992. Organizers said two late-night shows held Sunday at the Roseland Ballroom raised more than $300,000, with about 150 Broadway performers baring all — or, as with Stamos, almost all. (The truth is, he revealed little more than he does in “Cabaret,” but he did prove a very good sport — and in great shape.) This year’s theme was “Comic Strip,” so all the strippers appeared as superheroes or heroines of some kind. Stamos, wearing a Lone Ranger-like mask and black outfit, was surrounded by Wonder Women who yanked off his clothes. But former “Wings” star Steven Weber, 41, currently playing in the smash musical “The Producers,” did his bit for “Broadway Bares” without removing a thing. As he told WNBC-TV news, “Not at my age . . . think of a yo-yo in a wet sock.”
