Mini Mozart is striking all the right chords once again.
Joey Alexander is releasing his second album, Countdown, on Sept. 16, and PEOPLE has an exclusive first listen to his new single “Sunday Waltz,” the second track on the LP.
The pint-sized prodigy first rose to fame in 2014 when he played at a Jazz at Lincoln Center gala in New York City.
Now 13, Alexander has since released his first album, My Favorite Things; performed for Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama; played at the renowned Montreal and Newport Jazz Festivals; and been hailed by greats like Herbie Hancock and Quincy Jones.
The Indonesia native is also the youngest nominee to ever score a Grammy nod in the jazz category, earning nominations for best improvised jazz solo and best jazz instrumental album at the 2016 awards.
Countdown is now available for pre-order on iTunes.
