Obama turned 55 on Thursday and his VP/BFF Joe Biden celebrated the occasion by tweeting a picture of the “Joe” and “Barack” friendship bracelets the president made for the duo earlier this summer. “Happy 55th, Barack! A brother to me, a best friend forever,” the vice president wrote alongside the picture. Joining the veep in wishing Obama a happy birthday was the president’s wife, First Lady Michelle Obama, who posted an adorable, smiling picture of the two of them together. “55 years young and that smile still gets me every single day. Happy birthday, Barack. I love you,” said the message – signed “–mo” – on the first lady’s Twitter account. Related Video: Happy Birthday President Obama! Recently confirmed Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton also wished her former boss a happy birthday by tweeting a photo of the two of them laughing. But perhaps the best birthday tweet of all was from – who else? – former President Bill Clinton, who joked about just how many balloons were dropped at the end of the Democratic National Convention last week. “Happy Birthday, @POTUS! I would’ve sent real balloons, but we used them all last week,” the former president said.
