Jodie Foster Marries Alexandra Hedison: What Makes Their Relationship Work
The Oscar winner and her new wife eschewed an exotic honeymoon for something more low-key
After nearly a year of dating, Jodie Foster, 51, and photographer Alexandra Hedison, 44, tied the knot on the weekend of April 18 in a top-secret ceremony, which friends of the newlyweds say is just their style.
“They are very private when they’re around people they don’t know,” says a source. “But when they’re together, it can be like they’re in their own world.”
That was evident when the couple were spotted just days after their wedding walking through the second annual Paris Photo Show on April 24 at Paramount Studios in Hollywood.
“They were holding hands and looking like a newly married couple as they walked from gallery to gallery,” says an onlooker.
Being recognized in public was not something Hedison always longed for.
The daughter of actor David Hedison, who played James Bond ally Felix Leiter in Live and Let Die and License to Kill, Hedison followed in her father’s footsteps early in her career, landing a string of small roles on dramas such as Melrose Place and Nash Bridges.
