Does the return of Sunday Night Football make you want to sing? You’re not alone.

To kick off the season – starting Sunday Sept. 8 – NBC held open auditions for the theme song job that ultimately went to Carrie Underwood.

Heidi Klum, Joan Rivers, Howie Mandel, Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker, Natalie Morales, Jillian Michaels, Billy Bush, Mika Brzezinski, and Joe Scarborough all gave it a shot.

Michaels goes for it with her beat-box skills (Bush even rapped a bit!); Rivers is her typically grumpy self; and though The Hangover’s Ken Jeong steals the show, he does get upset when the gig goes to the Grammy-winning talent.

Who killed it? See for yourself.
