Jim Parsons has had a busy week!

The Big Bang Theory star married his longtime partner, graphic designer Todd Spiewak, on Saturday at the Rainbow Room in New York City, and according to him, it was the most fun he’s had in a while.

“It was fantastic … much more fun than I thought it would be,” Parsons, 44, told Extra on Wednesday at the CBS upfront presentation. “I wasn’t too nervous, [it was] just a lot to organize and I thought, ‘Well, this will be sort of fun … Let’s get through this,’ then it was all fun.”

Maybe too much fun? As it turns out, the long night actually left the actor feeling slightly under the weather.

“It was the latest I stayed up in many years,” he said. “I’ll be honest with you — I’m still paying for it. I got a cold, I was at the doctor earlier and got antibiotics.”

Earlier this week, Parsons’ Big Bang costar Mayim Bialik took to Instagram to gush about the stunning nuptials.

“What a wedding,” she captioned a photo of the newlyweds holding hands on their big day. “Not a cell phone in sight. Everyone was so present, which sounds pretentious but it was truly powerful for us all to just want to be there fully. Todd and @therealjimparsons, you are so loved.”
