Jessica Alba is breathing easier these days.

“I’m good now,” the actress, 26, who announced in December that she’s expecting a baby, said on Monday’s Today show.

Asked if she’s showing any of the symptoms of early pregnancy, Alba said, “I’m past that stage. It wasn’t morning sickness. It was all-day sickness.”

Alba, whose new movie, The Eye, opens Friday, also said that she’s being given plenty of advice and that her condition has brought out her own long-held maternal instinct. “I’ve always loved kids, and always wanted kids,” she said. “It’s perfect.” She added, “I feel really blessed. This is the best time ever.”

But for someone whose looks have been such an asset, does being pregnant bother her? “You go with what’s happening,” she said, admitting, though, that carrying a baby “is a shock to the system.” She also pointed out that she is not the one who has brought an emphasis to her looks.

For his last question on the topic, show host Matt Lauer asked Alba if she has wedding plans. She is engaged to boyfriend Cash Warren, 28.

“I’ve thought about it,” Alba answered, as Lauer quickly interjected, “Let’s leave it at that.”
