Jill (Duggar) Dillard and Jessa (Duggar) Seewald Take Family Trip to Ohio for First Public Appearance Since Scandal
Jessa Seewald posted a photo online of the sisters on their way to a music festival with their families
This will mark a big weekend for Jill (Duggar) Dillard and Jessa (Duggar) Seewald.
The two sisters were joined by their husbands (and little Israel Dillard) to travel to Mineral City, Ohio, on Friday for the ALIVE Christian music festival. Jill, 24, and Jessa, 22, are set to speak on the main stage on Saturday, according to organizers. The 19 Kids and Counting stars were originally slated to appear alongside their eldest brother Josh Duggar and his wife Anna, but it is unclear if he will still be attending the festival in the wake of his molestation scandal.
Both Jill and Jessa appeared to be in great spirits as they made their way to Ohio from Arkansas on Friday, with Jessa posting photos from the airport with the Dillards.
“Awesome travel buddies!” she wrote in the caption.

This will mark the sisters’ first public appearance since revealing during an interview earlier this month that they were among Josh’s victims. They told Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly that they had “already forgiven” Josh for his past abuse and that they had “moved on.”
Jessa and Jill had both slowly begun to return to their normal routine, with Jessa sharing a pregnancy update in a blog post on Wednesday.
ALIVE is a four-day event featuring camping, music, seminars, workshops, children’s programs and more, along with morning worship every day. Skillet, Toby Mac and Lecrae are among this year’s featured acts.
