Look Back at New Parents Jessa Duggar & Ben Seewald's Wedding
READY TO WED
After one year of dating and a three-month engagement, Jessa Duggar, 21, prepares to walk down the aisle to the man of her dreams, 19-year-old Ben Seewald, in Bentonville, Arkansas, on Nov. 1, 2014.
SUIT & TIE
Seewald gets dressed for the nuptials elsewhere with his groomsmen. "Ben is a man of integrity," his best man, Dylan McMahan, shares. "I know he's going to honor his wife and put her first."
HERE COMES THE BRIDE
Jessa shares a sweet moment with her mother-in-law, Guinn Seewald, before the main event. "She is very strong," Guinn says of her daughter-in-law. "She is very intelligent. She has a lot to offer to a conversation. She has great ideas – I have enjoyed getting to know her."
A DRESS TO IMPRESS
"It was the second gown I tried on," Jessa tells PEOPLE of her blush cap-sleeve A-line Allure Bridal creation, featuring a beaded bodice of Swarovski crystals and pearls. The bride removed a few layers of tulle until it was just right. "I love it," she says.
Following the nuptials – which included a smooch from Jessa's parents Jim Bob and Michelle, since the bride and groom chose to keep their first kiss private – the newlyweds pose with their extensive wedding party of friends and family (Jessa's sister Jinger, 20, served as maid of honor).
The couple heads from the ceremony to the reception amid a barrage of bubbles (more than 1,000 people attended the nuptials, including Kirk Cameron). The party featured ice cream sundaes ("I don't really like cake," Jessa explains), and at the end of the night, the lovebirds left via horse-drawn carriage.
TO BUILD A DREAM ON
It's almost a kiss! The so-in-love bride and groom exchange a sweet glance while signing their marriage certificate inside the First Baptist Church.
BE OUR GUEST
Friends and family leave kind words for the couple during the reception.
THIS MAGIC MOMENT
The newlyweds take a wedding photo to remember as the sun sets outside of the church. "This day is so exciting," Ben's mother Guinn says. "It seems like a dream."
