Jenny McCarthy knows how to keep cool (and look hot) this summer – by kicking back poolside with a cocktail. Specifically a nice, refreshing colada.

McCarthy whipped out her coconuts (we’re talking about the fruit!) and whipped up a Colada Cooler, using Svedka’s new Colada vodka, which blends pineapple, coconut and a bit of mango together.

To join Jenny in celebrating summer in style, just follow this simple recipe:

Svedka’s Colada Cooler

  • 2 oz. Colada
  • ¾ oz. honey syrup
  • ¾ oz. lemon
  • 2 oz. strawberries
  • Muddle strawberries in honey syrup. Pour remaining ingredients in a mixing tin. Add ice. Shake. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a wedge of lemon. Enjoy!

But, wait, is bourbon more your thing? Want to go another (equally sweet) route? Try a special summer solstice recipe on June 21, and toast to the longest day of the year.

American Honey Summer Solstice Cocktail

3 oz. Wild Turkey American Honey
6 oz. fresh squeezed grapefruit juice
2 dashes angostura bitters
1 sprig rosemary

Combine American Honey, grapefruit juice and bitters in a tumbler with ice and stir. Strain into a Collins glass filled with ice. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary.
