Jennifer Lawrence held a belated celebration for her 25th birthday with friends and family at a private home in Hollywood on Friday.

A source tells PEOPLE that she and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin have split. But the Hunger Games star had a fun night with a surprise party guest – reality TV matriarch, Kris Jenner!

A source close to the star tells PEOPLE that Lawrence and her friends are “obsessed” with reality TV, like the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Keeping Up with the Kardashians. So, when her friends decided to surprise the actress, they knew Jenner would be perfect.

“Jen had the best time ever,” the source says. “She was laughing so hard and thought the entire night was hilarious.”

The party comes a few weeks after Lawrence and on-again-off-again boyfriend Martin decided to split.

This hasn’t slowed newly-single Lawrence down. Earlier this month, the actress went on vacation with fellow funny girl Amy Schumer in the Hamptons.

Meanwhile, Martin was photographed on Thursday in New York City with a woman who appeared to be British actress Annabelle Wallis.

Lawrence had a great night and even scored an invite to be Jenner’s guest for FYF Fest where Jenner’s son-in-law Kanye West is headlining. The two got along so well, Jenner made a special speech celebrating the birthday girl, the source says.

After the party, the momager wished Lawrence a happy birthday by sharing a photo on Instagram of her and the birthday girl in bed.

“She and her friends had so much fun with Kris,” a source close to Lawrence tells People. “Kris even gave a speech and talked about how happy she was to be there.”
