Long-distancre relationships are hard, but low-key couple Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin are making it work.

After a romantic weekend, the fiercely private duo took off for Boston Sunday night to spend more time together, sources tell PEOPLE.

On Monday, Lawrence was spotted on the set of Joy – the upcoming biopic in which she stars as Home Shopping Network star and Wonder Mop inventor Joy Mangano – with Robert De Niro.

Meanwhile, Martin was snapped catching a flight out of Boston Tuesday afternoon. While they hadn’t been spotted together in months, an insider has told PEOPLE they’ve been visiting each other and that they “communicate daily.”

The pair spent Easter weekend together in N.Y.C., dropping by upscale restaurant Tavern on the Green for lunch Saturday before strolling through nearby Central Park and spending the night together at the Carlyle Hotel, then departing for New England the next day.

Their under-the-radar weekend was the first time Lawrence, 24, and Martin, 38, have been spotted in public since attending Harry Styles‘s star-studded 21st birthday bash on Jan. 31.

“They see each other when they can, yet each continues to do their own thing,” a Martin source recently told PEOPLE. “Both have full plates, and they like it that way.”

While the Oscar winner and Coldplay rocker enjoyed their East Coast rendezvous, Martin’s amicable ex Gwyneth Paltrow made her relationship with American Horror Story co-creator Brad Falchuk public, stepping out together at Robert Downey Jr.’s 50th birthday party.
