Awaiting the imminent arrival of her first child, Jennifer Garner is also giving birth to a new project – an erotic movie thriller developed by her own production company.
Called Sabbatical, the movie will star the Alias actress as a wife into the seventh year of her marriage – at which point she and her husband decide to add some spice to their relationship by taking a two-week break from one another, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Only hitch: After the allotted 14 days, the husband has disappeared.
The project is now in development, says the trade paper. Meanwhile, Garner, 33, is due in next year’s movie Catch and Release, about the widow of a highly secretive husband.
In real life, of course, Garner and husband Ben Affleck are very soon due to become parents – of a daughter. In late September, while telling Jay Leno about their impending arrival, Garner revealed in a highly noticeable slip that the baby is a “she.”
“You can just start to feel really pregnant, like you are the hugest person on the face of the planet. … I felt bigger and bigger like she …” Garner then quickly (and conscientiously) covered her mouth with her hands, and the crowd cheered.
