Aniston has invested in – and will star in ads for – a new bottled water brand

Jennifer Aniston is putting her money where her mouth is.

The actress, 38, has invested in bottled-water brand smartwater and will appear in posters and print ads for it, smartwater’s New York City-based parent company, Glaceau, has announced.

As part of the partnership, Glaceau said in a statement, Aniston “co-created a limited-edition smartwater label, which will be available in stores across the country this July.” The ads and billboards, shot by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino, are due to appear this summer.

“We were thrilled that Jennifer discovered smartwater and realized what a difference it makes to her healthy lifestyle,” said smartwater senior vice president of marketing Rohan Oza. “To us, Jennifer truly embodies what smartwater is all about as she combines substance and style like nobody else.”

Just how big a financial gulp Aniston is in for was not disclosed.
