Jennifer Aniston's Amazing Year
If there were any doubts that Jennifer Aniston is a star for the ages, they were put to rest in February, when she fulfilled her "wildest dreams" with her own plaque on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as Justin Theroux, her father John and onetime costar Adam Sandler applauded. "I love this girl. My wife loves this girl. The entire world loves this girl," Sandler said. "And handsome and well-educated Justin Theroux loves this girl."
SEXIEST WOMAN ALIVE
What a year it's been for the actress, who at 43 has a new man, a new dog – and a newly appreciative army of fans, including the readers of Men's Health magazine, who proclaimed her the Sexiest Woman of All Time in a December 2011 poll.
NEW LOVE NEST
Aniston earned more than a little elbow room when she laid out $21 million in January for posh new digs in Bel-Air. The 8,500-square-foot pad has four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, ocean views, a guest house and a vineyard. But believe it or not, it's actually smaller than the $38 million Beverly Hills spread she unloaded recently to "simplify" her life.
Proving she could shed her nice-girl image for a bad-girl turn, Aniston scooped up the first award of the night at the MTV Movie Awards in June: best onscreen dirtbag, for playing an oversexed dentist in Horrible Bosses. "Do you know how long I have tried to have somebody let me unleash my onscreen dirtbag?" said a triumphant Aniston. "A long time, and thank God this category just popped up."
