For the final show of his week-long run at Brooklyn’s new Barclays Center, Jay-Z arrived at the venue the same way as the majority of his fans – via the subway. The rapper, 42, hopped on the R train at Canal Street Saturday evening, surprising straphangers and chatting with fellow commuters during the ride to Atlantic Avenue. Once onstage, the rapper made the most of his last night, bringing his wife of four years, Beyoncé, out to share the spotlight. Shouting out close pal Gwyneth Paltrow, who was in town celebrating her recent 40th birthday, the new parents performed their hit “Crazy In Love”, as well as “Young Forever”.
