She’s got the bleach!

The Go-Go’s guitarist Jane Wiedlin debuted a new look as the band received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week – sporting shoulder-length blond curls as opposed to the short, punky haircuts she’s known for.

Wiedlin, wearing a black dress and a pearl necklace, appeared with her bandmates, including lead singer Belinda Carlisle, at Thursday’s ceremony. The unveiling took place in front of former punk club The Masque, where The Go-Go’s played their first show in the 1970s.

“In our wildest dreams, we could never have dreamed our little band would get a star on the Walk of Fame,” Wiedlin said.

The Go-Go’s are currently on tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of their debut record, Beauty and the Beat.
