Jake Owen's Cute & Candid CMA Fest Moments
Though Jake Owen celebrated his 7th annual fan club party at Nashville's CMA Fest on June 6, it was daughter Pearl's first time at the event. The 6-month-old briefly joined her dad on stage before returning to the arms of mom Lacey so Owen could treat his fans to some tunes.
Over 300 fans showed up to cheer on the country superstar, who gave them a sneak peek of his upcoming album and his hit song "Heaven."
IT'S A SIGN
Following his performance, Owen took some time to hang out and sign autographs. "Looking forward to seeing my friends and sharing some secrets," he Tweeted prior to the event.
Owen sat down for a chat with Good Morning America on Sunday before closing out the four-day festival. "I'm fired up to play LP Field tonight for the final night of #CMAFest," he Tweeted. "I can assure y'all that the boys and I are comin' out rocking'."
NUMBER 1 FAN
Prior to hitting the stage at LP Field, Owen snuck in some quality time with his little girl. "I don't know many lullabies, but I make up songs for her and say silly words while I get real close to her face," Owen told PEOPLE. "She loves that, and she smiles at me. Not even a sold-out show can compare to that!"
Owen only performed one song, "Anywhere with You," before an impending storm cut his set short. "Sorry to all my fans that paid good money for #CMAFEST2013 tix," he Tweeted. "Due to the weather coming in, I was told to only play one song. I ❤ you guys."
