A body found in Texas’s Lavon Lake is believed to be that of JaJuan Dawson, who went missing after falling off a boat on Sunday.

The former Houston Texans player, 37, fell off an inflatable tube while being towed by a boat on the lake over the weekend, McKinney, Texas, police said Tuesday in a Facebook post.

While his body has not yet been positively identified, there is “little doubt” that it is Dawson, Lieutenant Chris Havey of the Collin County Sheriff’s Office told NFL Media.

Dawson was tubing with his children and two other family members when the incident happened on Sunday evening. He was not wearing a life jacket at the time.

Floods in May and June have raised the level of the lake and left it riddled with debris hidden below the surface, according to The Washington Post.

The body has been released to the Collin County Medical Examiner for positive identification.

Dawson, a wide receiver, previously played for the Cleveland Browns as well.

Authorities are treating the tragic incident as an accident.
