Jaggers Settle 'Amicably'
It’s over for the Jaggers. Rolling Stone Mick Jagger and his estranged wife Jerry Hall have “amicably and formally agreed to separate,” their lawyers announced in London late Friday afternoon, after the couple reached “a mutually and acceptable legal and financial settlement.” Details of the financial arrangement will remain confidential, the lawyers said, per the couple’s demand. The courtroom hearing for divorce of the decade, as the split-up has been called, was canceled in London Friday morning, leaving an army of reporters stranded outside the High Court, devoid of any drama.
- Just hours before the hearing was due to start, new photos of Jagger leaving the London home of 27-year-old Venezuelan heiress Vanessa Neumann earlier this week were published in a national newspaper. Hall, 43, started divorce proceedings earlier this year after learning that Brazilian model Luciana Morad, 29, was pregnant following a fling with 55-year old Jagger.
