Michael Jackson met Tuesday with Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe during a secretive visit to the African country hosted by the state arms maker. Mugabe said he discussed ideas with Jackson for investment in a hotel development in Victoria Falls, one of the nation’s top tourist destinations. The pop star arrived late Monday without advance publicity. Still, hundreds of screaming young fans somehow heard of his arrival, reports the Associated Press, and he signed a few autographs before attending a cocktail party thrown by his host, Zimbabwe Defense Industries.
