Tell the world: Jackie Evancho‘s got a new single and music video.

The precocious soprano – who first wowed the country on America’s Got Talent when she was 10 – is releasing a cover of Skylar Grey’s hit “Coming Home, Pt. II,” and PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at the video.

Evancho, now 15, says she was moved by performing in the National Memorial Day Concert for PBS, and that inspired the military undertones of the video.

“The stories of our nation’s heroes in the specials have touched me. I wanted to make a video reflecting their stories as a tribute to them,” she said.

“Coming Home” is just the latest cover the vocal wunderkind has released in recent months. In December, she dropped her cover of Taylor Swift and the Civil Wars’ “Safe & Sound” from The Hunger Games.

And last summer, she posted a take on Ed Sheeran’s “All of the Stars” as a tribute to her sister Juliet, who had recently begun transitioning. (Juliet, Jackie and their father opened up exclusively to PEOPLE about her transgender journey in October.)

Evancho is working on an upcoming album and plans to release a new original song, “Apocalypse,” next month.
