Jennifer Lopez attempted to clear the air about some misconceptions about herself this weekend, as she took to the German TV airwaves for an interview.

Lopez, 33, voiced displeasure at having her private life made public — especially when the facts come out wrong — though she also admits that she’s learned to laugh about it.

She was serious, however, when she told TV host Thomas Gottschalk that, contrary to legend, her gams and famous rear end are not protected financially.

“No, my legs are not insured,” Lopez said.

And her butt? “No!” she replied emphatically.

“There are several rumors,” Lopez said. “But there are so many that three hours wouldn’t be enough time to discuss them all.”

She then politely declined Gottschalk’s invitation to extend the running time of his show — which was said to be seen by 20 million viewers — from three hours to four.

J.Lo had been in Germany for the Berlin Film Festival, where she was promoting the European release of her “Maid in Manhattan.”

Earlier on Saturday, in an interview with Reuters, she discussed how her personal life makes headlines. This includes her past relationship with Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs and current marital engagement to Ben Affleck.

“Things are blown out of proportion,” she insisted. “I have been going through it a long time. It’s just kind of humorous to me now.”
