Ivana Trump, who provided the final punchline to The First Wives’ Club – “Remember girls, don’t get mad … get everything! – can’t wait to get married again.

“I’ve had some practices at this, but it feels right,” the socialite, 58, told PEOPLE Monday night at a Manhattan party to mark her engagement to her boyfriend of six years, Italian actor Rossano Rubicondi, 35.

The Czech-born Trump (whose maiden name was Zelnéckové) first became an American household name in 1992, when she famously divorced Donald Trump after he strayed with actress Marla Maples.

As for Ivana’s previous unions: despite some reports, a spokeswoman says Trump never was married to childhood sweetheart George Syrovatka. But, for sure, she married Donald Trump in 1977. Shortly after their divorce, she wed Riccardo Mazzucchelli in a marriage that lasted less than two years.

Mutual friends introduced her to Rubicondi. “We are good for each other,” she says.

Trump claims to have no qualms walking down the aisle again. “I don’t need to get married to get the babies,” she says. “I have them. I’m not marrying for the social position. I don’t need to get married because of money. It just feels right. I have no fears.”

At Monday’s celebration, Italian singer Nicola Congiu serenaded the couple before Trump’s publicist, Catherine Saxton, officially announced the upcoming nuptials, to take place at Donald Trump’s Palm Beach, Fla., estate, which the real-estate mogul purchased in 1985, while still married to Ivana. (In 2005, The Donald – who was nicknamed by Ivana – wed his third wife, Melania Knaus, on the property.)

“They will get married this spring at Mar-a-Lago,” said Saxton, referring to Ivana and Rossano.

12-Carat Ring

Displaying the 12-carat emerald-cut diamond engagement ring Rubicondi gave her (and which daughter Ivanka designed), Trump said that what she likes best about her intended is his upbeat attitude. “He always has a smile on his face,” she said. “He’s sporty. He’s healthy. He’s a great guy with a lot of talent. He’s an actor and a dancer and a singer.”

For Rubicondi, it’s a mutual admiration society. “She’s an amazing woman. Beautiful, smart, sexy, powerful, successful, young in spirit,” he says. “We have fun together – otherwise I wouldn’t be getting married!”

Ivana’s ex also approves. “Donald is very happy about the whole situation,” says the bride-to-be. It was only on Monday that Rubicondi met The Apprentice star for the first time. “He was very kind to me and wished me the best,” said Rubicondi .

As for her bridal gown, “A dress is a dress,” professes Ivana. “That’s the least of my problems!”
