2014 has shaped up to be a standout year for Little Big Town. The quartet has been touring their sixth studio album, Pain Killer. And they just picked up another Grammy nodfor their hit “Day Drinking.”

And for the record, their was some imbibing involved when they celebrated their nomination. “The day we found out about about that nomination, a whiskey company came and brought us a bunch of gifts, and a lot of that was partaken,” band member Kimberly Schlapman, 45, tells PEOPLE with a laugh. “No matter how many times you hear that word Grammy, it’s always so very special. To be nominated again is the ultimate pat on the back.”

To cap off another great year, Schlapman, is partnering up with Smithfield for its #LendAHam campaign, during which it’s donating up to 1 million servings of protein to hungry families during the holiday season.

“I grew up around the table with my family having really special meals, especially on the holidays,” she says. “Some families can’t just go to the grocery store and buy food for a meal like that, so this gives those families an opportunity to have the same kind of cozy, warm meal that we do. Everybody deserves that time.”

Now that you know she’s got an affinity for whiskey and loves to give back, play a game of Two Truths and a Lie, and learn a little bit more about the country bombshell.

A) She’s a little bit of a slob.

B) She always has a spoonful of peanut better before going to bed.

C) She’s a bargain shopper.

A) She’s a little bit of a slob – False!
“I cannot leave my house unless my bed is not made or if there are dishes in the sink,” the singer tells PEOPLE Country. “I can’t go to bed if there’s dishes in the sink, and I can’t leave my house if my bed is not bed!”

B) She has a pre-bed ritual every night– True!
” I like to have a spoonful of peanut butter before I go to bed every night,” says Schlapman, who – in case you were wondering – prefers creamy over crunch. “You know who else loves peanut butter: my cat, Sugar. When I get out the peanut butter, he comes up, stands on me, and meows, so I’ll get a little extra on my index finger, and he’ll lick it off!”

C) She’s a bargain shopper – True!
“I love yard sales and a good bargain,” says the singer. Her last fun find? “Recently, I went to an incredible antique place that we have in Nashville – I love antiques – and I bought this really great bench for my backyard. It sits under a great little tree in the backyard. I just found it in the antique store with a whole bunch of stuff piled on top of it. And I took it home and made it my very own!”
