It's Greek to Us

In her colorfully illustrated new book, “Conversations with the Goddesses,” Agapi Stassinopoulos takes the goddesses of ancient Greece down off their pedestals and analyzes them in terms of today’s woman. Given PEOPLE Online’s celebrity bent, we asked the author (whose sister is the conservative political pundit Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington) to name the goddesses of the new millennium. Replied Agapi: “Judge Judy is Athena, holding the scepter of justice and promoting new ideas, law and social change. Michelle Pfeiffer is Aphrodite — free, sensual, confident and exuding unbridled passion. And Hillary Clinton is Hera, the wife married to the Zeus-like power, a man who is unfaithful and keeps being unfaithful, while she seeks her own power in the world.”
