Ever since its debut at the New York World’s Fair on April 22, 1964, Walt Disney’s It’s a Small World attraction has become a beloved highlight for park visitors around the world.

The musical boat ride, known for its insanely infectious looping chorus – “It’s a Small World (After All)” – and multicultural animatronic dolls, hits the half-century mark this month, and Disney is celebrating on Thursday, April 10, with a global sing-along.

“On Thursday, April 10, 2014, hundreds of voices from Disneyland Resort in California, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan, Disneyland Paris in France and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort will sing the unforgettable theme song of the ‘happiest cruise that ever sailed the seven seas,'” Disney Parks and Resorts recently announced.

In the meantime, here’s a handy pocket guide to everything you need to know about It’s a Small World.
