Tavi Gevinson kinds of does it all.

The 18-year-old, who first took the fashion world by storm as a kid blogger, is a writer, editor, singer and actress with a killer sense of style. But Gevinson still has one dream to turn into a reality: getting fellow Chicago native Kanye West to team up with her celeb bestie, Lorde.

“I’ve been trying to get him to do a Rookie thing for so long,” she tells Lightbulb, a new Entertainment Weekly video series, of her magazine. “I really want Lorde to interview Kanye. That would be amazing.”

So will the headline-making rapper and chart-topping singer ever get together for a meeting of musical minds?

“Lorde is on board,” Gevinson says.

And she hasn’t been shy about her admiration for West. Last January, she gushed about the hip-hop “pioneer” in a Rookie Q&A.

“I think his ability to evolve from album to album and still make something that I think is really incredible is super cool. That’s way harder to do than people think,” Lorde said. “I heard someone say that Kanye will do something first, and everyone will think it s weird until six months later, when everyone else is doing it.
