Inside Michael Cera's Jersey Shore Makeover
LOVE AT FIRST PUMP
Wishes do come true – at least for actor Michael Cera, who (seriously) wanted to spend an entire day with the cast of MTV's Jersey Shore. Cera, who next stars in the MTV film Youth in Revolt, hung out with the Garden State's finest – (from left) Jenni "J-Woww" Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Ronnie Magro, Sammi Giancola, and Paul "Pauly D." Delvecchio – in downtown New York City Monday to film a promo pegged to the Friday release of his movie.
With introductions out of the way, Pauly D. gives Cera his signature blowout, an impenetrable style that takes him nearly half an hour to sculpt. "Greatness takes time, and this hair right here is greatness," the reality star told PEOPLE.
CLOTHES MAKE THE GUIDO
Out with the checks, in with Ed Hardy! Completing his new look, the actor tries on a wild T-shirt from French designer Christian Audigier's clothing line – a favorite of another reality star: Jon Gosselin.
Calling all wingmen! Vinny initiates Cera (and his new look!) into the fold with a proper Jersey Shore welcome.
Looks like we have a Situation on our hands! Putting his new look to good use, Cera bonds with Jersey Shore babes Snooki and Sammi.
Since no visit to the Jersey Shore would be complete without time spent in the hot tub, Cera joins Vinny, J-Woww, Pauly D., Ronnie and Sammi for a celebratory soak overlooking Manhattan's downtown skyline.
A SHORE THING
He's really one of the guys: After a day of fist pumps, laughter and pizza, Cera's hair-raising do withstands even hot tub steam. Could a real trip down to the Jersey shore be far off?
