She put in the “Work,” and it’s paying off.

Iggy Azalea scored a song of the summer with her breakout Charli XCX-assisted smash “Fancy.” Up next?

She’s off to the Grammys for the first time Sunday, where she’s up for four awards, including two top honors (best new artist and record of the year), as well as best pop/duo group performance for “Fancy.” Plus, she’s a frontrunner for best rap album for her debut LP, The New Classic.

The Aussie rapper, 24, has caught her fair share of flak. But Azalea says her accomplishments are still sinking in.

“It’s been a whirlwind … I’ve had a Billboard No. 1, performed at a few of my favorite award shows, bought a new house and become the mother of two feisty bulldogs,” she tells PEOPLE. “It’s been fun but it all happened so fast, I’m just now getting the chance to catch up.”

The 57th Grammy Awards air on CBS on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET.
