Iggy Azalea is pledging to make 2015 less drama-filled in the wake of a newly revealed health condition.

The Australian-born hip hop star, 24, told fans via Twitter Wednesday that she’s been diagnosed with TMJ, or temporomandibular joint disorder, which causes pain in her jaw and facial muscles.

Azalea, who also said she’ll start work on her second album next week, blames stress for the flare-ups, noting on Twitter that she hopes to live a more balanced life in 2015 as she struggles with a condition that causes lower jaw pain – a difficult proposition for an artist whose work involves talking and singing.

“I’m gonna make more of an effort to take care of myself in 2015, stay away from all the drama & hopefully not have any flair ups,” Azalea Tweeted, adding that “I don’t think western medicine all the way acknowledges what a huge toll mental stress takes on our bodies. But I do believe it is a factor.”

In November, Azalea earned kudos when she took home an American Music Award for best rap/hip-hop album.

She’s also up for the coveted Grammy award for record of the year, for her hit “Fancy,” featuring Charli XCX.
