If David Could Talk

Hundreds of movers and shakers jammed into New York’s Museum of Modern Art last night for the star-studded premiere of HBO’s “If These Walls Could Talk 2,” a 90-minute dramatic trilogy examining three generations of American lesbianism. (The show will air March 5.) On hand were several of the film’s stars, including Sharon Stone, Ellen DeGeneres and Anne Heche, who wrote and directed the film’s contemporary piece about lovers trying to have a baby. Another guest was famous sperm donor David Crosby, who told PEOPLE about the attention he’s received for fathering the two children of Melissa Etheridge and Julie Cypher: “I think a lot more has been made of it than needs to be. I think it’s a natural thing. I love my wife for having the generosity of spirit to suggest it. It was really cool. They are wonderful women and I love them and I’m very proud of them.” As for Ellen and Anne having a child, “We’re not planning it,” DeGeneres told PEOPLE. “Not that a child is out of the question,” countered Heche. “But we’re incredibly selfish right now about our time together. We’ve been together three years. And we’re still in our honeymoon phase.”
