Here are five reasons we're still Team Ian

While Beverly Hills, 90210 inspired endless Brandon-versus-Dylan debates, Ian Ziering has remained a formidable fan favorite since his Peach Pit days.

It’s hard to believe the chiseled, blond hunk turns 50 Sunday. Ziering, who played spoiled-yet-sensitive Steve Sanders on the long-running series, has more recently made headlines for his stint as a Chippendales dancer and a starring role in the Syfy Channel’s surprise hit Sharknado.

In honor of Ziering’s birthday, here are five reasons we’re still Team Ian. (In case you were wondering, Gabrielle Carteris was the first of the 90210 gang to hit the big 5-0, in 2011, while Brian Austin Green won’t reach the half-century mark until 2023.)

1. Look at those dreamy eyes.

2. He’s always been athletic.

3. He has a great sense of humor.

4. He’s not afraid to take it off.

5. He doesn’t take himself too seriously.
