Ian Ziering Lures Shannen Doherty & Jennie Garth to Chippendales Stage
"Judging by their reaction, I know they had a great time," dancer Ziering tells PEOPLE
Even a night at the Peach Pit After Dark wouldn’t be able to top this.
“Chippendales is a very interactive show and we managed to surprise them both by including them on stage in a few production numbers,” Ziering tells PEOPLE. “I was very flattered by their comments. And judging by their reaction, I know they had a great time.”
The actresses, who were small-screen besties in the ’90s, couldn’t hold back smiles as they posed with their shirtless – and ripped – former castmate (who happens to be 49!) more than a decade after their hit primetime drama ended its 10-year run on Fox.
“We’ve always been very supportive of each others’ endeavors, and when they heard what I was up to, they wanted to come support,” adds Ziering – whose run with the production has been extended through July 14. “The fact that this new gig is Chippendales made it all the more easy to get them out to the Vegas.”
But it wasn’t all about the boys. Garth – whose character, Kelly Taylor dated Ziering’s character, Steve Sanders in early high school days – also posted a shot of just her and Doherty on the airplane, with the caption, “Look out Vegas @theshando.”
Later, she gave a breathless update.
