The couple spent part of Coachella, one of the busiest and buzziest music festivals in the country, making out in a crowd of people. Somerhalder and Reed were spotted Saturday, during the festival’s first weekend. And they shared a smooch while wearing oddly complimentary hats. The Twilight star got engaged to the Vampire Diaries hunk in January, about six months after their romance hit the headlines last summer. “They’re so happy!” an insider told PEOPLE at the time. And it looks like they still are! Reed, 26, jokingly told reporters in February that she and Somerhalder, 36, never fight – except about his eyes. “He thinks his eyes are ocean blue and I think they’re aqua,” she said. It gets better: Reed told PEOPLE in January that the couple’s shared love of animals is one of the reasons they’ve clicked so well. They own four dogs, three cats and two horses. “We have such an amazing future ahead of us and anything we put our minds to will become a reality,” she said at the time.
