Honey Boo Boo the Recording Artist? Alana Thompson Releases New Song 'Movin' Up' – Yes, Really!

Forget the Whip/Nae Nae it's all about the Honey Boo Boo Bop, Do The Honey Boo Boo Bop

Do The Honey Boo Boo Bop, Honey Boo Boo Bop!

Alana Thompson, better known as Honey Boo Boo, has released her first song “Movin’ Up” along with its accompanying music video.

While it has been nearly a year since her TLC show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was taken off the air, the 10-year-old is making her mark as a recording artist with the help of singer/songwriter Adam Barta.

And Thompson’s family is getting in on the act as well! Mama June and Sugar Bear make cameos in the music video while 16-year-old sister Lauryn Shannon a.k.a. Pumpkin is a featured vocalist.

If you haven’t followed Honey Boo Boo’s rise to fame starting from her days on Toddlers And Tiaras, just listen to some of her lyrics: “Started out as a pageant queen/Then on TV doing my thing/Now movin’ up in the world/New fun times with my girls.”

And the chorus could – quite possibly – become the next viral hit.

“Honey Boo Boo Bop/Do The Honey Boo Boo Bop/Honey Boo Boo Bop/Do The Honey Boo Boo Bop.”

Sadly, sister Anna Cardwell was not mentioned amid claims she is owed upwards of $201,000 by Mama June and Honey Boo Boo LLC for unpaid appearances on the canceled TLC reality show.
