Two days after Joe Perry’s scary onstage collapse, the Hollywood Vampires continued their tour with a stop in Kettering, Ohio. Though Perry was unable to perform during Tuesday night’s show at the Fraze Pavilion, his bandmates made sure his presence was felt throughout the concert.

Perry’s amps and other musical equipment were set up to occupy the spot where he usually stood onstage, and his fellow Hollywood Vampires – including Johnny Depp and rock legend Alice Cooper – donned buttons with Perry’s initials. Fans in attendance reportedly appreciated the gesture, and affectionately chanted his name throughout the gig.

The band also paid tribute to their ill guitarist with a tender post on Instagram. “#JoePerry’s presence was felt strongly,” they captioned the photo. “The boys wore JP badges, set up Joe’s equipment and fans held signs and chanted for him throughout the set! We love you Joe!”

Perry’s collapse also forced the band to pull out of their late night TV debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday.

No word yet on when Perry will return to the tour. A rep for the band told PEOPLE Monday: “Joe Perry will rejoin his fellow Vampires on stage again soon.”
