Destry Speilberg, Jessica Springsteen, and Lola Consuelos took the reins from their celebrity parents this weekend and placed first in their respective categories at the Hampton Classic Horse Show.

“I don’t get nervous,” said Kelly Ripa at her lunch table overlooking the finals in Bridgehampton Sunday, the final day of the week-long competition. “I sort of get amazed. Because I’ve never been on a horse in my entire life. Lola loves it she enjoyes it she’s a hard worker. She likes to muck out her own stall.”

“She’s obsessed,” says dad, Mark Consuelos, of 8-year-old Lola, who was champion in her short stirrup category. “She has a couple ponies – Clever Endeavor and Dawns Early Light – which means we can never retire … our name is not Bloomberg, it’s Consuelos.”

Meanwhile, Destry Speilberg, 12, was champion in the large pony hunter category. And Jessica Springsteen, 17, whose mom Patti Scialfa and dad Bruce Springsteen attended, won her small junior hunter division.

Even Real Housewife Kelly Bensimon rode well this week, placing ninth in the three foot adult hunter category. “My horse was from Connecticut, a beautiful specimen. I was so relaxed, I had so much fun,” Bensimon told PEOPLE.
