Donald Trump took to his Facebook page on Thursday to wish everyone a “Happy Cinco de Mayo” – and to tell the world that he “loves Hispanics.”

Trump posted a picture of himself digging into a taco bowl and giving a thumbs up while sitting at his desk at Trump Tower in Manhattan.

He captioned the picture, “Happy Cinco de Mayo! The best taco bowls are made in Trump Tower Grill. I love Hispanics!”

Also on Trump’s desk is a recent issue of PEOPLE, open to a feature on his ex-wife Marla Maples. You can see a vintage photo of Maples in a bikini peeking out beneath Trump’s meal.

Requests for the Taco Bowl went through the roof after Trump posted the photo, Christopher Devine, the executive chef and general manager of Trump Tower Grill, told PEOPLE.

The dish features a deep-fried tortilla shell filled with seasoned ground beef and chopped lettuce, and topped with chopped tomatoes, grated cheese, sour cream and pico de gallo.

The bowl is usually only on menus on Saturdays, but it was available today for Cinco de Mayo for $13.50.

Trump is due in West Virginia at 7 p.m. on Thursday for an evening rally, but Devine confirmed to PEOPLE that the GOP candidate ate the Taco Bowl today.

Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton was quick to respond to Trump’s Facebook post, taking to Twitter to reference an interview the billionaire businessman gave to NBC News’ Lester Holt on Wednesday.

Asked by Holt whether he stands by his promise to deport America’s undocumented immigrants, Trump replied, “They’re going to be deported. Look, we either have a country or we don’t. We have many illegals in the country and we have to get them out and go through a process, go through a system and ones who have done well and have really achieved we want to bring them back in.”

Trump launched his presidential campaign in June by promising to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico and calling Mexican immigrants “rapists” and “murderers.”

At a fundraiser in Arizona last month, Sen. John McCain noted that the Hispanic community is outraged by Trump’s remarks.

“If you listen or watch Hispanic media in the state and in the country, you will see that it is all anti-Trump,” McCain said. “The Hispanic community is roused and angry in a way that I’ve never seen in 30 years.”

President Obama Celebrates Cinco de Mayo

Meanwhile, at a White House Cinco de Mayo celebration, San Antonio chef Johnny Hernandez dished up, in President Obama‘s words, “his taco and margarita recipes all the way from San Antén.”

And Obama said he marked the day with a phone call to Mexican president Peña Nieto about their “shared work on advancing the prosperity and the security of Americans and Mexicans.”

Obama also promised revelers in the East Room that he wasn’t giving up on making the U.S. Immigration system “fairer and smarter,” adding, “I’m going to keep on working on this, not just as President but as a citizen – once I’m leaving here.”
