MARKED: Wednesday, Dec. 5, marks the 100th birthday of the late animator and Hollywood visionary Walt Disney, who died of lung cancer in 1966. The day will be marked by events at the theme parks that bear his name in California and Florida. Disney is the creator of Mickey Mouse. His daughter, Diane Disney Miller, 67, told the Associated Press: “What dad wanted to do was entertain people and make them laugh. WED: Favorite TV comedian Carol Burnett, 68, married Brian Miller, age undisclosed, a percussionist who plays with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, last month during a hush-hush ceremony, her publicist said Tuesday. It is the third marriage for the redhead, who has three daughters with late ex-husband (and producer of her show) Joe Hamilton . . . SENTENCED: LeAnn Rimes’s former bodyguard and fitness trainer, Robert Lavetta, 45, will enter a diversion program rather than face charges of trying to extort from Rimes money and a luxury car (which could have carried penalties of up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine). Lavetta lost his job with the country singer, 19, in June, after allegedly stealing videotapes and photos from her . . . FILED: “Pearl Harbor” director Michael Bay, 36, has slapped his former stockbroker with a lawsuit, saying that Win H. Troung, formerly of Merrill Lynch, made a sneak attack on his portfolio and defrauded the filmmaker out of $5 million by day-trading. Troung could not be reached for comment.
