Gwyneth Paltrow and Elizabeth Taylor are jetting to Britain to join in the celebrations for the British Academy Film Awards — England’s Oscars — this weekend. Paltrow took the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in “Shakespeare in Love” and will be hoping to repeat the feat at Sunday’s ceremony. The film has been nominated for 16 awards. Brenda Blethyn (for “Little Voice”), Emily Watson (“Hillary and Jackie”) and Lynn Redgrave (“Gods and Monsters”) — who all missed out on Oscars — are in the running for BAFTA Awards and will be at the event at the Business Design Center in Islington, north London.
