Gwyneth Paltrow: Blogger?

The actress, who is on the road with famed chef Mario Batali, has turned to the Web to share her experiences as a cook and mother.

“Over the years I have tried lots of different things. I have made lots of mistakes. But I figured some things out in the process and would like to share them with you,” Paltrow writes on the main page of her new Web site, GOOP, where she encourages readers to “nourish the inner aspect”.

So far there’s only a message from the actress posted, but she promises more juicy content soon.

Readers can sign up for a newsletter to see recipes and travel notes from Paltrow, who turns 36 on Saturday. She also will publish fashion buys and advice from her “sages,” and promises a few surprises to come.

“My life is good because I am not a passive person,” she writes. “Goop is a little bit of everything that makes up my life,” says the happily married mother of two.

The most important thing, though, is for readers to enjoy their own lives, she says, and to “make it great.”
