Gwen Stefani has moved on from her marriage to Gavin Rossdale, but she continues to share her emotion through song.

On Thursday, the 46-year-old singer belted out her new solo hit “Used to Love You” with gusto during an appearance on The Tonight Show.

Even while immersing herself in the melody and lyrics – which were inspired by her divorce from Rossdale, 50 – Stefani looked as glamorous as ever, donning a sleek white jumpsuit that she topped off with a gold belt.

The Voice judge last performed the rock-tinged ballad on Monday’s episode of the singing competition, prompting boyfriend Blake Shelton to sing her praises.

“She deserves it,” Shelton, 39, told Extra of the song’s success. “If you go through whatever she went through to write that song, at least she’s getting something good, positive out of it.”

Stefani has been candid about her new music and love life.

“Everybody knows pretty much what happened to me,” she said in an interview with Elvis Duran on Thursday. “I got a divorce, which completely was not in the plan at all.”
