Photo Diary: Lucy Hale's Grand Ole Opry Debut
SHE HAS ARRIVED
What a V.I.P.! Pretty Little Liars star and country singer Lucy Hale makes a very special entrance to Nashville's Grand Ole Opry on Saturday night ahead of her debut performance. "Woke up this morning amp can't believe one of the things I've dreamt of since a little girl is happenin in hours," she Tweeted.
Before the lights, camera and action, the star gets a squeeze from her proud papa, Preston Hale.
Hale finds herself surrounded by flowers and notes of congratulations from friends and family members while reflecting in her dressing room pre-show.
SHE'S WITH THE BAND
After engaging in her quiet, pre-show ritual, Hale warms up with the storied Opry band.
MOMENT OF SILENCE
Before the curtain rises, Hale takes a moment on stage with the Opry's general manager Pete Fisher. She performed her new single, "Lie a Little Better," on stage Saturday night (she shot the video at the Opry house over the weekend, too!) and will debut the song June 30 on Good Morning America.
SNEAKING A PEEK
AND SO IT HAPPENS
There she is! Hale finally takes the stage for her Opry debut. "Little girls dream about their wedding dress. I dreamed about the dress I was going to wear on the Opry," she told the crowd (for the record, it was a Dsquared2 white leather lace '50s dress). After the show, she Tweeted, "No words. Beyond blessed. Thank you @opry for the best night of my life."
