Good Ratings: Regis, Football, Emmys
Emmy may have honored “The West Wing” and “Will & Grace” — both NBC shows — on Sunday night, but Nielsen honored ABC. The winner of the primetime ratings for the week of Sept. 4-10 was ABC, what with “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” the return of “Monday Night Football” and the Emmy Awards themselves. (The rating is the percentage of the nation’s estimated 100.8 million TV homes. Each ratings point represents 1,008,000 households.) The Top 10:
1. “Who Wants to be a Millionaire – Tuesday,” ABC, 15.7, 6.01 million homes
2. “NFL Monday Night Football: Denver at St. Louis,” ABC, 15.3, 15.63 million homes
